Hazel Green, Wisconsin Allan A. Jansen, 82, of Hazel Green, Wisconsin, died Friday, February 2, 2018, at Epione Pavilion in Cuba City surrounded by his loving family. Friends may call from 2-7:30 p.m. Monday, February 5, 2018, at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City. A scripture wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. A Memorial Mass and burial will be held at a later date. Allan was born on February 10, 1935, near Kieler, the son of Rudy A. and Anna L. (Weber) Jansen. He married the love of his life, best friend and partner, Denise S. Timmerman, on May 15, 1956. Allan graduated from Cuba City High School. He was a good, hardworking family man who was a friend to so many. During his lifetime he worked at the Dubuque Packing Company for 29 years and FDL Foods for several more, serving as union secretary/treasurer for the UFCW Local 150A and at Clare Bank in Kieler for 10 years. He also served as Jamestown Township Clerk for 38 years and was a Grant County Supervisor for several years. Survivors include his wife, Denise; four children, LuAnn (Gregg) Johnson, Platteville, Daniel (Janet) Jansen, Dickeyville, Sandra (Mike O'Donnell) Jansen, Morton Grove, IL and Michael (Paula) Jansen, Hazel Green; twelve grandchildren, Jerome (Andrea) Jansen, James (Joanne) Pelletier, Brett Schuppener, Scott (Leah) Schuppener, Jeffrey (Amanda) Pelletier, Renee Schuppener, Heather (Tyler) Claringbole, Lauren (Ben) Skemp, Tyler (Brooke) Jansen, Alex (fiancé, Josh) Jansen, Haley Jansen and Tanner Jansen; nine great-grandchildren, Ava Jansen, Jackson Pelletier, Olivia Pelletier, Lily Jansen, Ivy Jansen, Harper Blong, Hayden Jansen, Sylvester Schuppener and Will Skemp, with two more great-grandchildren due in May; a brother, Vernon Jansen, Hazel Green; three sisters-in-law, Betty Jansen, Sun Prairie, WI, Charlotte Randall, Cuba City, and Clarice (Wayne) Holland, Cedar Rapids, IA; and a brother-in-law, Tom Hendricks, Cuba City. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudy and Anna; his brothers, Bob and Jerry; a sister, Elvira Hendricks; a sister-in-law, Pat Jansen; his mother and father-in-law, Melita and Leo Timmerman; a sister-in-law, Germaine Rokusek; and three brothers-in-law, Cletus Rokusek, Randy Randall and Eugene Timmerman. An Allan A. Jansen Memorial Fund has been established.
