Benton, Wisconsin Amy G. Driscoll, 94, of Benton, Wisconsin, died Thursday, July 14, 2011, at Southwest Health Center Nursing Home in Cuba City. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 17, 2011, at the Benton Bible Church in Benton with Pastor Nelson Perkinson officiating. Burial will be in the Benton Primitive Methodist Cemetery. Friends may call from 3-6 p.m. Saturday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Benton. Friends may also call after 1:00 p.m. Sunday at the church. Amy was born on December 29, 1916, in New Diggings Township, the daughter of Francis C. and Ina (Cole) Hall. She married LaVerne Driscoll on August 24, 1939, in Dubuque, Iowa. He preceded her in death on February 2, 1980. Amy was a member of the Benton Bible Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. She also worked as a volunteer for the Red Cross Blood Mobile. Amy liked the Milwaukee Brewers, Badgers and traveling on the bus. She enjoyed telling stories about New Diggings. Amy loved spending time with her grandchildren; hearing their stories and about all of their activities. Amy was a great visitor and made a great gooseberry pie. Survivors include two sons, Lee (Pam) Driscoll and David (Sharon) Driscoll, both of Benton; six grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Leonard Hall, and a sister, Lela Zubler. In lieu of flowers an Amy G. Driscoll Memorial Fund has been established. A special thanks to the nurses and staff of Southwest Health Center Nursing Home for their kindness, compassion and care.
