Ardis M. Steines

Ardis was born on September 11, 1931, in Springbrook, Iowa, the daughter of Walter and Helen (Gonner) Budde. She married Odilo Steines on September 19, 1949. Ardis was a faith filled person. She loved spending the holidays and special occasions with her family whom she was very proud of. Ardis enjoyed traveling, crocheting, playing bingo, cards and the casino slots. Survivors include her husband, Odilo; four daughters, Lois (Merrell) Casper, of Cuba City, Doris Steines, of San Antonio, Texas, Jane (Jim) Munson, of Dickeyville, and Dee (Steve) Kalmes, of Springville, Iowa; two sons, Don (Cathy) Steines, of Menominee, Illinois, and Jim (Sharon) Steines, of Platteville; two sisters, Imelda Schlarmann and Joyce Kramer, both of Dubuque; a special friend, Dori Johnson, of San Antonio, Texas; eighteen grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Helen; four brothers, Marvin, Vernon, Eldon and Merrell; and three sisters, Ruth, Marilyn and Evelyn.
