Kieler, Wisconsin Arlene M. Pickel, 69, of Kieler, Wisconsin, died Friday, May 31, 2019, at Epione Pavilion in Cuba City surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with health issues. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at Immaculate Conception Church in Kieler with Rev. Bernard Rott officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3-7 p.m. Monday at the Immaculate Conception Parish Center where the parish wake service will be at 2:45 p.m. Friends may also call from 9-10:45 a.m. Tuesday at the parish center before the service. Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cuba City is serving the family. Arlene was born on September 23, 1949, in Cassville, Wisconsin, the daughter of John and Pauline (Fishnick) Tobin. She married Bernell C. “Pete” Pickel on September 25, 1971, at St. Andrew’s Church in Tennyson, Wisconsin. She worked as a secretary at Jamestown Mutual Insurance and UW-Platteville. Arlene enjoyed riding on the motorcycle with Pete, shopping with her girls, visits from her group of girlfriends, and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Pete; two daughters, Stacey (Casey) Kaiser, Hazel Green, and Nicole (Kevin) Runde, Kieler; five grandchildren, Tanner, Mya, Briggs, Brady and Ava; her sisters, Carol (Bill) Terfruchte, Kieler, and Jackie (Rusty) Schaefer and Colleen (Brad) Leibfried, both of Potosi; a brother, Dan (Jean) Tobin, Fennimore; a sister-in-law, Lavon Heinricy, Kieler; and a brother-in-law, Kenneth (Berneice) Pickel, Kieler. She was preceded in death by her parents; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Marcella Pickel; a son-in-law, Mark Curwen; two sisters-in-law, Darlene Schroeder and Dolores Pickel; three brothers-in-law, Orville Pickel, Paul Schroeder and Ron Heinricy; and a niece, Julie Pickel. A huge thank you to the staff at Epione Pavilion for making the most of her years spent with you and Grant County Hospice for your care.
