Benton, Wisconsin Belva Lu Farrey, 77, of Benton, Wisconsin, died Saturday, April 20, 2019, at home. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Benton. Burial will be in the Primitive Methodist Cemetery in Benton. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Belva was born on May 4, 1941, in Benton, Wisconsin, the daughter of Orville A. and Alice H. (Lornez) Shepherd. She married Ronald Farrey on March 19, 1960, in Shullsburg, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death on June 4, 1994. Belva worked at Micro Switch in Galena for 20 years and at Southwest Mart in Hazel Green for two years. Belva’s hobbies included reading, completing puzzles, crocheting and sewing. Survivors include her daughters, Constance (Steve) Kuhl, Hazel Green and Cynthia (Scott) Bartell, Benton; her sons, R. Jamie (Diane) Farrey, Benton and Jason (Amy) Farrey, Hazel Green; four sisters, Cleone McCoy, Gratiot, Dorothy (Roger) Isley, Shullsburg, Joan Brietzman, Longdale, MN, and Sue (Bruce) McClain, St. Peter, MN; fourteen grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Della Hocking; and two brothers, Paul and Carl Shepherd. A Belva Farrey Memorial Fund has been established.
