Bo Austin Johnson, 28, of Platteville, Wisconsin, formerly of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025. Private family services will be held. Casey-McNett Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cuba City, Wisconsin, is assisting the family. 

Bo was born on June 17, 1996, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Connie (Cihla) Johnson. He worked at GoDaddy as a website technician and was an accomplished salesperson. Bo loved spending time with family and friends, and had unconditional love for his daughter, Zaveah. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing, cooking, and was a lover of music. Bo was affectionately known as a “pretty boy” due to his signature style, love for the perfect photo, and undeniable shoe obsession. Bo will be remembered for his loving nature and unwavering determination.

Bo is survived by his mother, Connie (Mark “K-C” Boyd) Johnson, Cedar Rapids, IA; his daughter, Zaveah Johnson, Cedar Rapids, IA; his life partner, Nick Kennicker, Platteville, WI; three siblings, Isaiah (Lindsay Delaney) Johnson, Trey (Delicia Mort) Johnson, and Jasmine (Dayshawn Hare) Armstrong, all of Cedar Rapids, IA; and his two “second moms”, Rachel Gates, Cedar Rapids, IA, and Kim Brown-Ubersox, Hazel Green, WI.

 He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth and Joan Cihla.
