Bruce D. Hilvers

Bruce D. Hilvers, 60, of Cuba City, Wisconsin, died Monday, February 8, 2010, at home. Memorial services will be 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2010, at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City with Pastor Melissa Warren Spoerl officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date. Friends may call from 5:00 �" 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Bruce was born on December 10, 1949, in Cuba City, the son of Douglas and Ruth (Heil) Hilvers. He married Christina Dreessens on December 19, 1970. Bruce was employed at the John Deere Dubuque Tractor Works for 17 years and was also the founder and proprietor of Cuba City Machine for over 30 years. Survivors include his wife, Christina; two sons, Tim (Michele) of Hazel Green, Ryan (Amy) of Hubertus, WI; five grandchildren, Jackson, Jonathan, Cole, Kailey, and Paige; a sister, Cheryl (Howard) Silberman of Milwaukee; and his parents, Doug and Ruth Hilvers of Benton.
