Cuba City, Wisconsin Carl A. Roddick, 90, of Cuba City, Wisconsin, died Monday, June 24, 2013, at Southwest Health Center Hospital in Platteville. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at St. Rose of Lima Church in Cuba City with Rev. David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3-7 p.m. Tuesday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City. Friends may also call from 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at the church before the service. Carl was born on February 17, 1923, in Ellenboro, Wisconsin, the son of Louis and Gretta (Lee) Roddick. He married Eileen Droessler on March 2, 1943. She preceded him in death on December 29, 2012. Carl worked at John Deere Dubuque Tractor Works. Carl enjoyed playing cards and dancing. He was always happy to see friends and agitate them and liked to get harassed back. Survivors include two daughters, Diana (Ken) Comer, of Farley, Iowa, and Charlene (Mike) Munyon, of Cuba City; two sons, Kenny Roddick, of Cuba City, and Steven (Cathy) Roddick, of Balltown, Iowa; a daughter-in-law, Lois Roddick, of Waunakee, Wisconsin; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his parents; two sons, John, in January 1980, and Ricky, on March 27, 2012; a granddaughter, Renae; three brothers, Lyle, Wesley, and Milton; and a sister, Wilma Roddick. Carl's family would like to send a special thank you to the staff in the Reflections Unit of Epione Pavilion for the wonderful care dad received.
