Cuba City, Wisconsin Carol A. McWilliams, 74, of Cuba City, Wisconsin, died Friday, December 16, 2011, at Southwest Health Center Nursing Home in Cuba City. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 19, 2011, at Faith Lutheran Church in Cuba City with Pastor Denise Anderson officiating. Burial will be in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Cuba City. Friends may call from 2-7 p.m. Sunday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City. Friends may also call from 9-10 a.m. Monday at the church before the service. Carol was born on March 30, 1937, in Wiota Township, Wisconsin, the daughter of Charles and Ethel (Stixrud) Putnam. She married Ken McWilliams on August 10, 1974. Carol worked at Lands End in Dodgeville. Carol was an active golfer and bowler, and an avid supporter of Cuba City Athletics. She was a member of Cole Acres, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Faith Lutheran Church choir. Carol was a loving mother, wife, grandmother and great-grandmother who devoted her life to her family. She always had a loving smile, warm heart and contagious laugh. Survivors include her husband, Ken; a daughter Lynette (Joel) Sutter, of Mt. Horeb; four sons, Alan (Bev) Flint, of Blue Mounds, Jeffrey (Melissa) Flint, of Madison, Kendall (Kristin) McWilliams, of Pewaukee, and Dennis (Amanda) McWilliams, of Mt. Horeb; her brother David (Darlene) Putnam, of Monroe; her brothers-in-law, Knute Linnerud, of Stoughton, and Jim (Donna) McWilliams, of Hastings, MN; her sisters-in-law, Ruth Ellen Putnam, of Monroe, Ruth Ann (Robert) Summers, of Cuba City, Marie McWilliams, of Platteville, and Joyce (Tom) Connors, of Dubuque; nine grandchildren, Jared and Laura Sutter, Jessi, Nikki, and Lilianna Flint, and Carlye, Brooke, Jacob and Kennedy McWilliams; and one great-grandchild, Abigail Flint-Palmer. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Richard Charles Flint; three brothers, Robert, Arthur and Chuck Putnam; and two sisters, Charlene Durtschi and Sandy Linnerud. In lieu of flowers, a Carol McWilliams Memorial Fund has been established. The family would like to thank Southwest Health Center in Cuba City for their excellent care.
