Cuba City, Wisconsin Christopher M. Becker, 23, of Cuba City, Wisconsin, died Saturday, April 3, 2010, as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 8, 2010, at St. Rose of Lima Church in Cuba City with Rev. David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City where the parish wake service will be at 2:45 p.m. Friends may also call from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Chris was born on December 16, 1986 in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from Cuba City High School in 2005 where he participated in football, basketball and track. Chris joined the Army National Guard in 2006 and served in Iraq from January until August of 2008. Afterwards he lived in Oklahoma until recently moving back to Cuba City with his fiancée and ten month old son. Chris recently received a CNA license and was pursuing a career in the health care field. Chris loved to spend time with friends and family and especially with his four brothers. His time spent with Mysti and Ashland was precious. He enjoyed watching and playing with Ashland, “His Little Man.” He loved watching all sports and enjoyed Frisbee golf. Chris will be sadly missed by his friends, family and all who knew him. Survivors include his fiancée, Mysti Nimsey, of Cuba City; his son, Ashland August Becker, at home; his parents, Bill and Tammy (Coley) Becker, of Cuba City; and four brothers, Paul Becker, of West Hollywood, California; and Brett, Dylan, and Dalton Becker, all of Cuba City. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Augie and Marion Becker, and his paternal grandfather, Allan Livingston. A Christopher M. Becker Memorial Fund has been established.
