Dale Joseph Linden

March 9, 1934 — June 7, 2010

Dale “Pete” Joseph Linden, 76, of 415 W. Benton St., Cuba City, Wisconsin, died Monday, June 7, 2010, at home. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 10, 2010, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cuba City with Rev. David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City where the parish and Catholic Daughters of the Americas wake service will be at 2:45 p.m. Friends may also call from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home before the service. He was born on March 9, 1934, in Platteville, Wisconsin, the son of Robert and Bernice (Byrnes) Linden. He married Marita Wubben on October 15, 1957, at B.V.M. Church in Menominee, IL. Dale was employed at John Deere Dubuque Tractor Works for 32 years as a tractor parts washer. He was a member of UAW #94, the Cuba City Fire Department and St. Rose Church. Dale enjoyed fishing, playing cards and dancing. He and Marita especially enjoyed going to watch their grandchildren play ball. Dale is survived by his wife Marita; four daughters, Diane (Jamie) Farrey of Benton, Donna Linden of Darlington, Jane (Keith “Greaser”) Euler of Warren, IL, and Lisa (Chuck) Griffin of Apple River, IL; two sons, Mark (Tina) Linden of Cuba City and Kevin (Ann) Linden of Apple River, IL; his stepfather, Emil Friedlein; two brothers, Jim (Joan) Linden of Darlington and Don (Joan) Linden of Stoughton, MA.; a brother-in-law, Vernon (Darlene) Wubben of Menominee, IL; 13 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert Linden and Bernice Friedlein; his mother and father-in-law, Henry and Dorothy Wubben; and a sister-in-law, Coletta Wubben.
