Daniel W. Runde

Hazel Green, Wisconsin Daniel W. "Danny" Runde, 69, of Hazel Green, Wisconsin, died Saturday, January 14, 2017, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, January 21, 2017, at St. Francis de Sales Church in Hazel Green with Rev. Kenneth Frisch officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 9-11:30 a.m. Saturday at the church before the service. Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cuba City is in charge of arrangements. Danny was born on November 17, 1947, in Hazel Green, Wisconsin, the son of Virgil A. and Helen M. (McReynolds) Runde. He loved the farm life and was so interested in farming. Danny always had a big smile and hello for everyone he met. Survivors include his sister, Judy Geasland, of Dodgeville, his brothers, Ken (Nancy) Runde, of Cuba City, and Greg (Judy) Runde, of Sullivan, Wisconsin; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Patricia Runde Washburn; and a nephew, Brett Runde. In lieu of flowers, a Daniel W. Runde Memorial Fund has been established.
