Platteville, Wisconsin Darlene D. Busch, 91, of Platteville, Wisconsin, formerly of Cuba City, Wisconsin, died Saturday, October 29, 2016, at Manor Care in Platteville. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2016, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cuba City with Rev. David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3-7 p.m. Tuesday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City where the parish and Catholic Daughters of the Americas rosary will be at 2:45 p.m. Friends may also call from 9:15-10:15 a.m. Wednesday at the church before the service. Darlene was born on August 27, 1925, on Fountain Bluff Farm, rural Platteville, the daughter of Ellsworth and Laura (McCarthy) Duggan. She graduated in 1943 from Cuba City High School. She married Joseph E. "Joe" Busch on May 29, 1947, at St. Rose of Lima Church in Cuba City. He preceded her in death on June 30, 1996. Darlene was a member of St. Rose of Lima Parish and the National Council of Catholic Women (CCW). She served as a past officer of the parish CCW and the Grant Deanery. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court #4 where she served as Grand Regent and District Deputy. She was also a charter member of the Southwest Serra Vocations Club, board member of the Adult Education Council at Sinsinawa, and a charter member of Cole Acres Country Club. Darlene was a school bus driver for the Cuba City School District for six years. She and her husband co-owned Busch Barn Equipment until 1987. They were winter Texans for 11 years. Survivors include her children, Beverly (David) Sutter, of Dubuque, JoAnn Vetter, of Milwaukee, Loraine Andrews, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Edward (Sharon) Busch, of Cuba City, Gloria (Mike Gavanus) Busch, of Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, and Melody (Terry) Dillon, of Platteville; a sister, Mercedes Rooney, of Schaumburg, Illinois; three sisters-in-law, Loretta " Sis" Duggan, of Platteville, Helene Dalsing, of Dubuque, and Marie Busch Foecking, of Galena; a brother-in-law, Dean Rogers, of Cuba City; thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Darlene will be met in heaven by her husband, Joe; her sister, LaVon Rogers; and her brothers, Delmer Duggan and two brothers who died in infancy.
