Winona, Minnesota Darryl D. Busch, 37, of Winona, Minnesota, formerly of Shullsburg, Wisconsin, died Monday, June 20, 2011 at home. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2011, at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City. Friends may call from 11:00 until the time of the service at the funeral home on Saturday. Darryl was born on March 8, 1974, son of LeAnn Olson and Dennis “Denny” Busch. He married Jennifer Ewers on July 13, 2001. Darryl was a newspaper carrier for the Winona Daily News. Darryl was a Boy Scout leader of Pack 6 in Winona, Minnesota. His pastimes included Frisbee golf, reading, ball games, and family game nights. Darryl was a fan of the Carolina Panthers, Milwaukee Brewers, Minnesota Twins, and Jeff Gordon. In addition he greatly enjoyed Star Wars movies. However, Darryl’s greatest joy was spending time with his children. Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Ewers-Busch, of Winona, Minnesota; a daughter, Brittany Busch, of Winona, Minnesota; two sons, Craig and Jacen Busch, both of Winona, Minnesota; his mother, LeAnn (Jeff) Olson, of Minnesota City, Minnesota; his father, Dennis “Denny” Busch, of Shullsburg, Wisconsin; two sisters, Sarah Busch, of Grantsburg, Wisconsin, and Jenelle (Tom) Shepherd, of Cuba City, Wisconsin; his wife’s parents, Roger and Rochelle Ewers, of Platteville, Wisconsin; a sister-in-law, Nicole Ewers-Ruch (fiancée Chris Vinson), of Winona, Minnesota; his maternal grandmother, Elva Hermanson, of Monroe, Wisconsin;his wife’s grandmothers, Rita Ewers, of Platteville, Wisconsin, and Janis Ihm, of Kieler, Wisconsin; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Busch; his paternal grandmother, Shirley Pederson; his maternal grandfathers, Faedelus Herbst and Harold Hermanson; his paternal grandfathers, LaVern Busch and Morris Pederson; and his wife’s grandparents, Lenny Ihm, Dorothy Mindham, Dulcie Ihm, and Edna Jerrett. Some people spend a lifetime and never find true love. You blessed me with 13 years, and although I wanted many more, I have been blessed to have spent the last 13 years of my life with my soul mate. You may be gone, but because of your generous organ donations, many people will live.
