Daryl R. Van Natta, 72, of Cuba City, Wisconsin, passed away Monday, December 30, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2025, at Casey-McNett Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cuba City with Rev. David Flanagan officiating. Visitation will be held from 2-5:45 p.m. Friday at the funeral home prior to the service. Private family committal will take place at a later date.


Daryl was born on March 2, 1952, in Cuba City, Wisconsin, the son of Francis and Dorothy (Burbach) Van Natta. He graduated from Cuba City High School. He was united in marriage to his partner of 23 years, Tina Oberfoell, on April 26, 2024.


Daryl worked at the Cobb Canning Factory before joining John Deere Tractor Works, where he dedicated 38 years to his career before retiring. Alongside his work at John Deere, he also worked as a farmer, a lifelong passion that brought him immense joy. Daryl cherished the time spent working the land and caring for his cattle, creating lasting memories with his children and grandchildren. A devoted fan of the Green Bay Packers, Daryl took great pride in supporting his favorite team throughout the years. His dedication to his family, his work, and his passions left a lasting impact on all who knew him, and he will be remembered with love and admiration.


Daryl is survived by his wife, Tina Oberfoell, Cuba City, WI; five children, Tammy (Courtney) Leibfried, Potosi, WI, Wendy (Travis) Blackbourn, Kieler, WI, Kevin Van Natta, Milton, WI, Amy (Ryan) Kimmy, Prosperity, SC, and Sara (Marcus Rockiett) Van Natta, Evansville, WI; three brothers, Jerry Van Natta, Danny (Judy) Van Natta and Robert Van Natta; five sisters, Elizabeth (Mike) Walters, Susan (Steve) Curtis, Sally (Randy) Ladd, Patricia (Donald) Steinbech and Pamela (Scott) LaBarge; a sister-in-law, Julie Van Natta; 16 grandchildren, Zach Stuart, Caden and Caleb Leibfried, Lucas, Colin and Brody Blackbourn, Kameron, Lilly and Layla Van Natta, Kenzie, Kya, Kennedy and Kal Kimmy, Deja Smith, and Jeremiah and Jayden Rockiett; and his aunt, Barbara Loeffelholz.


He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Cheryl Kennicker; a brother, Rodney Van Natta; and a sister-in-law, LuAnn Van Natta.


The family would like to thank Dr. Mark Hermann, Tony Heiar, N.P. and their staffs; the doctors and medical staff at University of Iowa Hospitals; and Hospice of Dubuque, especially Becky, for their care of Daryl.
