Donald C. Keleher, 82, of Cuba City, Wisconsin, died Friday, March 12, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 15, 2010, at St. Rose of Lima Church in Cuba City, with Rev. David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2-7 p.m. Sunday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City where the parish and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas wake service will be at 1:45 p.m. Friends may also call from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home before the service. Don was born on December 7, 1927, in Galena, Illinois, the son of Francis and Cecelia (Schulte) Keleher. He served for two years in the Army during the Korean War. Don married Anna Mae Dalsing on May 26, 1953 at Immaculate Conception Church in Kieler. He farmed on their dairy and hog farm on St. Rose Road until they retired to Cuba City in 1993. Don was a member of the Cuba City Knights of Columbus, the American Legion, and a longtime member of St. Rose of Lima Parish. Don enjoyed visiting and playing cards with his family, teaching his grandchildren to play cards, senior bowling league, and driving cars for the auto auction. Survivors include his wife, Anna Mae; four daughters, Donna (Dennis) Bell, of Gays Mills, Denise (Michael) Murphy, of Soldiers Grove, Lois (David) Kuhle, of Hazel Green, and Rita (Steve) Gevelinger, of Mineral Point; two sons, Steve (Kathy) Keleher, of Oconomowoc, and Joe (Ginger) Keleher, of Verona; three brothers, Marcellus (Irene) Keleher, of Galena, Illinois, Harold (Betty) Keleher, of Scales Mound, Illinois, and Edgar (Roseanne) Keleher, of Cuba City; four sisters-in-law, Cecelia Keleher, of Shullsburg, Rosie Keleher, of Galena, Joanne Dalsing, of Dubuque, Iowa, and Sue (Gary) Dalsing Fry, of Oregon, Wisconsin; and two brothers-in-law, Nilus (Mary Anne) Dalsing, of Cassville, and Mike (Judy) Dalsing, of Dubuque; 17 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Delbert Keleher and Melvin Keleher; and two brothers-in-law, Marvin Dalsing and LaVern Dalsing.
