Donald K. Cole

Benton, Wisconsin Donald K. Cole, 69, of Benton, Wisconsin, died Friday, May 3, 2013, at The Finley Hospital in Dubuque. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 6, 2013, at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Cuba City with Pastor Nelson Perkinson officiating. Friends may call from 11-1:45 p.m. Monday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City. Don was born on January 5, 1944, in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of Keith R. and Dorothy (Cottrell) Cole. He married Karen A. Allison on March 1, 1964, in Galena, Illinois. Don retired from Georgia Pacific. He enjoyed fishing at the Eagle Point Barge, hunting, card playing and a few beers. He also enjoyed spending time at the Sandy Hook, drag racing and having a good time with his friends. His dog Porky will be missing him. Survivors include his wife, Karen; two sons, Cory, of Dubuque, and Shane (fiancée, Lonnie) of Mt. Horeb; two sisters, Joy (Alan) Droessler, of Cuba City, and Mary Lou Baal, of Platteville; and a grandson, Nicholas. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Christopher. A special thanks to Toot and Dawn, Mac, Briar, Ashley, and Tank for their friendship over the years.
