Dot was born on April 1, 1939, in Lancaster, Wisconsin, the daughter of Leo and Anastasia (Eggers) Leibfried. She married Lawrence L. Timmerman on February 15, 1958 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, in Tennyson, Wisconsin. Dot was a homemaker, and was always cooking, sewing, and baking. She always had a cookie for visitors. She was a quiet, but strong individual. Survivors include her husband, Lawrence; three daughters, Rhonda, (Scott) Nowakowski, and Renae (Eric) Burchardt, both of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Roxanne (Brian) Hartl, of Hazel Green; four sons, Tim (Vickie) Timmerman, of Potosi, Todd (Paula) Timmerman and Ted Timmerman, both of Dickeyville, and Tony (Carolyn) Timmerman, of Cuba City; four sisters, Julie (Donny) Jansen, of Hazel Green, Jane (Kenny) Lange, of Phoenix, Arizona, Peg (Bob) Pitzen, of Kieler, and Joan Bahl, of Dubuque, Iowa; three brothers, Richard (Jane) Leibfried and Roger (Nancy) Leibfried, both of Dubuque, and Randy (Jane) Leibfried, of Galena, Illinois; and fifteen grandchildren. Dot was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Shirley Blindert and Marilyn Sexton; and two brothers, Keith and Jeff Leibfried. The family would like to thank Hospice of Dubuque and the staff at Southwest Health Center Nursing Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Dubuque, 2255 J.F.K.
