Dorothy J. Carlson

Dorothy J. Carlson, 78, of Dickeyville, died Sunday, January 24, 2010, at Southwest Health Center Nursing Home in Cuba City. Friends may call at Casey Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Cuba City from 3-6 p.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2010, with a prayer service following the visitation at 6 p.m. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Mora, Minnesota at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 28, 2010. Dorothy was born on May 22, 1931, in Lancaster, Wisconsin, the daughter of Frank A. and Ida M. (Blum) Weber. She married Donald Carlson on April 26, 1975. He preceded her in death. Survivors include three sons, Thomas (Lisa) Meyer, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Daniel Meyer, of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Gary (Karen) Meyer, of Dickeyville; nineteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Russell Biggin Jr.; three sisters, Lucille Hudson, Elva Bausch, and Lois Shipley; and three brothers, Paul Weber, Frank Weber Jr., and Donald Kress.
