Benton, Wisconsin Dorothy L. Pinch, 86, of Benton, Wisconsin, died peacefully Saturday, January 14, 2012, at home. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 19, 2012, at St. Patrick’s Church in Benton with Rev. David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City where the parish wake service will be at 2:45 p.m. Friends may also call from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home before the service. Dorothy was born on December 7, 1925, in Manchester, Iowa, the daughter of Lyle and Pearl (Turner) Miller. She married Vincent F. Pinch on October 14, 1947 at St. Mary’s Church in Dubuque. He preceded her in death on November 6, 2011. Dorothy worked as a waitress in Dubuque. After her marriage to Vince she became a farm wife, farming and gardening her entire life. She enjoyed feeding the birds in her yard and cooking for family gatherings. Dorothy could make a feast with only an hour’s notice. She loved her children and grandchildren. Dorothy also loved God and her church saying her rosary every night. She prayed for everyone. Dorothy was a member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary and St. Patrick’s Parish. Survivors include three daughters, Susan (Michael) Kies, of Fairfax, Iowa, Sharon (Kim) Douvikas, of Hanover, Illinois, and Shirley Painter, of New Market, Virginia; a son, James (Donna) Pinch, of Cuba City; three sisters, Mae Keenan and Harriet Fisher, both of Manchester, Iowa, and Helen Brown, of Kingsville, Texas; three brothers, George Miller, of Toddville, Iowa, Archie (Marliss) Miller and Clifford (Maxine) Miller, both of Independence, Iowa; twelve grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Ray Miller, Roy Miller and Harry Miller.
