Dorothy May Beinborn

Cuba City, Wisconsin Dorothy M. Beinborn, 88, of Cuba City died Saturday, June 20, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque, Iowa. Services will 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 25, 2015, at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, with Rev. David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be St. Rose of Lima Cemetery. Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home where the parish scripture wake service will be held at 2:45 p.m. Friends may also call from 9-9:45 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home before the service.. Dorothy was born on April 20, 1927, in Richwood Township, Wisconsin, the daughter of Glenwood and Elma (Persinger) Randall. She married Harold "Ham" Beinborn on December 9, 1948, in Decorah, Iowa. Dorothy enjoyed cooking, baking, watching game shows, bowling, golfing and playing bingo. She loved babysitting and taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Many children knew her as "Grandma B" and enjoyed her great cookies. Most of all she loved being with her family. Dorothy was a member of the Cuba City Lioness Club. Survivors include her husband, Harold "Ham"; two daughters, Pam (Larry "Stretch") Freymiller, and Kay (Dan) McWilliams, both of Cuba City; two sons, Ed (Barb) Beinborn, of Madison, and Denny (Melissa) Beinborn, of Trenton, Georgia; son-in-law, Roger Welbes, of Cuba City; two sisters, Lyndy Moran, and Eleanor Freymiller, both of Boscobel; one brother, Ron Randall, of Sand Point, Idaho; 25 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Peggy Welbes; a daughter-in-law, Paula Beinborn: a sister, Evelyn Randall; and three brothers, Leo, Harlan and Ralph Randall. A Dorothy M. Beinborn Memorial Fund has been established. We would like to thank the following for their excellent care and help: Medical Associates especially Christy Willis and her staff, Dr. Engleman, Dr. Janes, Mercy Hospital and staff, Cuba City Area Rescue Squad and Mercy Home Care.
