Eileen McWilliams Pluemer, 91 of Platteville, Wisconsin, formerly of Shullsburg died Friday, December 17, 2010. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 20, 2010 at St. Matthews Catholic Church in Shullsburg, Wisconsin, with Rev. Michael Moon officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, December 19, 2010 at the Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, where the Parish Wake Service will be held at 1:45 p.m. Friends may also call Monday morning December 20, 2010 from 9-10:00 before the service at the church. She was born on December 6, 1919 in Seymour Township, rural Shullsburg, the daughter of John and Mary (Brannon) Gille. She married Cecil McWilliams on November 7, 1942 at St. Matthews in Shullsburg. He preceded her in death on January 27, 1984. On August 11, 1990, she married Donald Pluemer also at St. Matthews. He also preceded her in death on December 4, 2009. Eileen lived on the Sullivan farm after her marriage to Cecil until moving to town in 1976. She was a member of St. Matthews Altar and Rosary Society, and enjoyed playing bingo, cards, and dancing. Survivors include two daughters, Linda (Mike) Vosberg, of Hazel Green, and Julia (Mike) Kleckner, of Stockton, Illinois; three sons, John (Emma) Mc Williams, of Verona, Wisconsin, Dan (Kay) McWilliams, of Cuba City, and Tim (Carol) McWilliams of Nashville, Tennessee; six step-daughters, Nancy (Gary) Breeding, of Miliptas, California, Kathy (Dave) Kite, of Livingston, Wisconsin, Mary Ann (Vernon) Lenzendorf, Donelle (Joe) Fitzsimmons, Christine (Doug) Bartow, and Barbara Pluemer, all of Montfort, Wisconsin; two step-sons, Donald (Julie) Pluemer, of Montfort, and John Pluemer, of Keokuk, Iowa; thirteen grandchildren, and twenty-one great-grandchildren; eleven step-grandchildren, and twenty-five great-grandchildren; one sister, Genevieve Edge, of Shullsburg; and five sisters-in-law, Anita Moon, of Lancaster, Jane Pluemer, of Platteville, Dorothy Johns, of Cuba City, Hazel Fecht, and Margaret Wilke, both of Potosi. She was preceded in death by her parents; both of her husbands; a brother, Thomas Gille; and a great-granddaughter, Makenna Vosberg-Lemery. Don’t grieve for me too much.
