Hazel Green, Wisconsin Eldon A. Adams, 67, of Hazel Green, Wisconsin, died Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at Unity Point Health-Finley Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2015, at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City with Calvin Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with military rites accorded. Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Friends may also call from 9:30-10:15 a.m. Monday at the funeral home before the service. Eldon was born on November 18, 1947, in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of Eldon A. and Rosemary (Gassman) Adams. He married Sharon Nelson on June 14, 1969. Eldon served in the US Navy during the Vietnam Era and was a member of the VFW. He worked at and retired from John Deere Dubuque Tractor Works. Eldon was an ordained Bible Baptist minister. He was avid in karate and self defense. Family meant everything to him. Everyone loved him. He always had a smile and joke for everyone. Survivors include his wife, Sharon; three daughters, Michelle (Jason) Weber, of Dubuque, Becky (Chris Johnson) Hendrickson, of Cuba City, and Charity (Jeremy) Frey, of Arlington, WI; two sons, Samuel (Meghan) Adams, of LaCrosse, and Caleb (Lindsey) Adams, of Cuba City; his father-in-law, Norman Nelson, of Dubuque; fourteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his mother-in-law, Maxine Nelson. An Eldon A. Adams Memorial Fund has been established.
