Florence A. Hansen

Benton, Wisconsin Florence A. Hansen, 87, of Benton, Wisconsin, died Thursday, February 14, 2013, at Epione Pavilion in Cuba City. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 17, 2013, at Faith Lutheran Church in Cuba City with Pastor Denise Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Benton Bible Church Cemetery in Benton. Friends may call from 3-6 p.m. Saturday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Benton. Friends may also call from 12:30-1:45 Sunday at the church before the service. Florence was born on June 3, 1925, in Watonwan County, Minnesota, the daughter of Adolph and Alice (Mattestad) Askevold. She married Wayne Hansen on December 1, 1951, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Mankato, Minnesota. Florence spent a lot of time making quilts and putting together "health kits" for the church. Survivors include her husband, Wayne, of Benton; a daughter, Linda Hansen, of New Richmond, Wisconsin; three sons, Mark (Amy) Hansen, of Amery, Wisconsin, Paul (Penny) Hansen, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Luke (Mary) Hansen, of Juda, Wisconsin; five grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Jered, Shelby, Kristen and Karen; and two sisters, Loraine (Robert) Smesrud, of Mankato, Minnesota, and Judy Scholl, of St. Peter, Minnesota.
