Florida S. Udelhoven

Dubuque, Iowa Florida S. "Fritz" Udelhoven, 86, of Dubuque, formerly of Dickeyville, Wisconsin, died Friday, March 14, 2014, at Stonehill Care Center in Dubuque. Services will 6:00 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2014, at Holy Ghost Church in Dickeyville with Rev. Bernard Rott officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Thursday at the church. Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cuba City is in charge of arrangements. Fritz was born on January 2, 1928, in Dickeyville, Wisconsin, the daughter of William and Regina (Bode) Ginter. She married Bernard J. "Hap" Udelhoven on September 1, 1951. Fritz enjoyed shopping, playing golf and cards, and going to church. Her grandchildren were very special to her. Survivors include her husband, two daughters, Cheryl Pieper, of Madison, and Lori Scharf, of Oshkosh; two sons, Michael (Dana) Udelhoven, of Batavia, Illinois, and Mark (Terri) Udelhoven, of Vandalia, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Eric (Mary), Lauren and Todd Udelhoven, Sara and Casey Pieper, and Maggie Scharf. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Virginia Ginter and Alvera Cristos; and a son-in-law, Curt Pieper. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Liaboe and his nurse, Trish, for their many years of care, and to the staff of Stonehill Care Center.
