Louisburg, Wisconsin Floyd S. Timmerman, 69, of Louisburg, Wisconsin, died Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque, Iowa. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2018, at Immaculate Conception Church in Kieler, Wisconsin, with Rev. Bernard Rott officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military honors accorded. Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Parish Center where the parish wake service will be at 2:45 p.m. Friends may also call from 9-10:15 a.m. Saturday at the parish center before the service. Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cuba City is in charge of arrangements. Floyd was born on September 17, 1949, in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of Ervin and Alice (Wiederholt) Timmerman. He married Mary Ann Simon on December 27, 1969, at Holy Ghost Church in Dickeyville. Floyd was co-owner of Louisburg Garage. A very genuine person, Floyd loved life, his job and especially his wife, children and grandchildren. His customers enjoyed buying cars from him. He especially loved Jeep and his weekends away to his "paradise" in Cassville. Floyd's mantra was "It's a Beautiful Day" and that's how he lived life. Floyd was a founding member of the Tri-State Stump Jumpers, and a member of the National Auto Dealers Association and Midwest Jeepsters. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann; three daughters, Carrie Lynn (Shannon) Lory, Waunakee, WI; and Holly Ann (Michael) Splinter and Kelly Kay (Jeffery) Kunkel, both of Kieler; a sister, Shirley Timmerman, Louisburg; two brothers, Carl (Judy) Timmerman and Michael (Cindy) Timmerman, both of Cuba City; a sister-in-law, Kay (Steve) Peterson, Platteville; a brother-in-law, Jerry (Fran) Simon, Louisburg; and seven grandchildren, Carter, Evan and Isaac Lory, Colson and Alana Splinter, and Ava and William Kunkel. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother and sister-in-law, Alvin "Butch" and Barb Timmerman; a sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Jim Johnson; his parents-in-law, Cletus and Eileen Simon; and a niece, Kristine Timmerman. A Floyd S. Timmerman Memorial Fund has been established.
