Kieler, Wisconsin Francis H. Droeszler, 91, of Kieler, Wisconsin, died Tuesday, January 1, 2013, at Southwest Health Center Hospital in Platteville. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2013, at Immaculate Conception Church in Kieler with Rev. Bernard Rott officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Friday at the Immaculate Conception Parish Center where the parish wake service will be at 2:45 p.m. Friends may also call from 9-10:15 a.m. Saturday at the church before the service. Francis was born on March 6, 1921, in Louisburg, Wisconsin, the son of Frank and Victoria (Droessler) Droeszler. He married Rosalia M. Kaiser on May 31, 1944, at Immaculate Conception Church in Kieler. She preceded him in death on September 7, 2008. He farmed to perfection his entire life. Faith, family and farm were important to him. He was a lifetime member of Immaculate Conception Parish and its Holy Name Society, and also a member of the Catholic Knights. Survivors include five daughters, Doris (Dan) Berning, of Hazel Green, Mary Lou (Jerome) Puls, of Cuba City, Elaine (George) Portzen, of Dubuque, Janet (Jim) Dietzel, of Kieler, and Rita (Joe) Placke, of Cuba City; three sons, Francis R. (Debby) Droeszler Jr, of Hazel Green, and Eldon J. (Ann) Droeszler and Daniel (Lisa) Droeszler, both of Cuba City; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Gene and Rita Kowalski, of Cuba City, and Elmer and Dorothy Kaiser, of Dickeyville; 35 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Bernice Ihm, Helen Vosberg-Lange, Rosalyn Timmerman and Irma Timmerman; two brothers, Ralph and Harlan; and a brother and sister-in-law, James and Bertilla Leibfried. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Immaculate Conception Church.
