Frank Walter Degenhardt

Frank was born on January 14, 1946, in Grant County, Wisconsin, the son of Francis L. and Kathryn M. (Seitz) Degenhardt. He married Marilyn Cornell on January 31, 1970. Frank worked for 39 years at Georgia Pacific. During the Vietnam War Era Frank spent three years driving fuel tank trucks in Europe. Frank enjoyed woodworking, making bird houses, traveling and camping. He especially enjoyed horses, trail rides and going out west. Frank was a great fix it man. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn, of Hazel Green; a son, Joseph L. Degenhardt, of Dallas, Texas; and two sisters, Patricia (Howard) Sailing, of Beloit, Wisconsin, and Karen (Tom) Noel, of DeSoto, Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers, a Frank W. Degenhardt Memorial Fund has been established.
