Hazel Green, Wisconsin Garrett W. Stephens, 32, of Hazel Green, Wisconsin, died Thursday, December 4, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 8, 2014, at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City with Pastor Nelson Perkinson officiating. Friends may call from 2-7 p.m. Sunday and after 9:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Garrett was born on September 25, 1982, in Cuba City, Wisconsin, the son of Richard and Christine (Reuter) Stephens. He married Ashley A. Blume on August 24, 2013, at Four Mounds in Dubuque. He owned Key City Kustom and took great pride in his custom body work and painting. Garrett graduated from Cuba City High School in 2001. He loved music, jeeping, gardening, canning, raising his new chickens, and just being outdoors. He was an excellent cook. Garrett was devoted to family and will be greatly missed and forever loved. Survivors include his wife, Ashley; his parents, Rich and Chris Stephens, of Cuba City; a sister, Brigitte (Eric) Heim Stephens, of North Liberty, Iowa; a brother, Calvin Stephens, of Cuba City; his father and mother-in-law, Scott and Karoly Blume, of Dubuque; and a brother-in-law, Austin Blume, of Dubuque. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Norbert and Mary Reuter, his paternal grandparents, John and Violette Stephens; and an uncle, David Reuter. Thank you to the Hazel Green Rescue Squad and Fire Department who aided the family. A Garrett W. Stephens Memorial Fund has been established.
