Hazel Green, Wisconsin Gerald J. "Jerry" Bussan, 94, of Hazel Green, Wisconsin, died Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Epione Pavilion in Cuba City, Wisconsin. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at St. Francis de Sales Church in Hazel Green with Rev. Lance Schneider officiating. Burial will be in Nativity BVM Cemetery in Menominee, Illinois. Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Monday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City. Friends may also call from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Tuesday at the church before the service. Jerry was born on September 6, 1918, in Menominee, Illinois, the son of Leo and Mary (Budden) Bussan. He married Pearl Haas on July 22, 1942. She preceded him in death on December 24, 1969. Jerry owned and operated Bussan Ford Sales for nine years in Guttenburg, Iowa. He enjoyed the outdoors and was a dedicated farmer. Jerry managed the Midwest Livestock and Equity Collection Point. He cherished time with his family and was an avid euchre player. Survivors include three daughters, Bonnie (Greg) Kalish, of Tucson, AZ, Joan (special friend, Howard) Pierick, of Eldridge, IA, and Becky (Bill) Rehn, of Peosta, IA; four sons, Dennie (Clara) Bussan, of Livingston, Dean (Gloria) Bussan, of Fennimore, Randy (Betty) Bussan, of Livingston, and Kerry Bussan, of Hazel Green; 18 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by three sons, Gary, Lonnie and Jackie; his parents; three brothers, Lester, Eugene and Arnold; and two sisters, Leona King and Elma Mavis. A Gerald J. "Jerry" Bussan Memorial Fund has been established.
