Geraldine M. Schuster

Hazel Green, Wisconsin Geraldine M. Schuster, 72, of Hazel Green, Wisconsin, died Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at Lafayette Manor in Darlington. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 10, 2011, at St. Rose of Lima Church in Cuba City with Rev. David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City where the parish wake service will be at 3:45 p.m. Friends may also call from 8:30-9:45 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home before the service. Geraldine was born on October 22, 1939, in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Alfred and Gertrude (Kramer) Butlett. She married Richard P. Schuster on October 5, 1957, in Dubuque. She and Richard farmed near Hazel Green. Survivors include her husband, Richard; two daughters, Sandy (Denny) Ritter, of Darlington, and Barbara (Tom Ferrin) Schuster, of Hazel Green; four sons, Richard (Mitzi) Schuster, Timothy (Lisa) Schuster, and Kenneth Schuster, all of Cuba City, and James (Ronda) Schuster, of Bloomington; two sisters, Carol (Paul) Fuegen and Maggie (Mike) Wiegman, both of Dubuque; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Al, Joe and Leo Butlett; three sisters, Karen Butlett, Viola Thoma and Shirley Schwartz; and a grandson, Tommy Ferrin.
