Dickeyville, Wisconsin Glen E. Middaugh, 91, of Dickeyville, Wisconsin, died Thursday, May 28, 2015, at University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 1, 2015, at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Dickeyville with Rev. Bernard Rott and Rev. Francis Steffen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military rites accorded. Friends may call from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City where the parish rosary will be at 1:45 p.m. Friends may also call from 9:30-10:15 a.m. Monday at the funeral home before the service. Glen was born on May 23, 1924, in Cumberland, Iowa, the son of Earl and Alma (Martin) Middaugh. He married Avis Small on November 29, 1952, in Dubuque, Iowa. Glen served in the US Navy during World War II. He worked for Inland Molasses. Glen was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, and was a volunteer fireman. He was an avid Cubs, Bears and Hawkeyes fan. Glen loved fishing, bowling, golf and playing cards with his family. He especially enjoyed watching his children's and grandchildren's sporting events. Recently he went on an Honor Flight to Washington DC. Survivors include his wife, Avis "Seet-see"; two daughters, Christina (John) Tigges, of Davenport, Iowa, and Cherie Louise Middaugh, of LaCrosse, Wisconsin; two sons, Dale (Darci) Middaugh, of Sussex, Wisconsin, and Don (Jessica) Middaugh, of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin; a brother, Roy (Marge) Middaugh, of Glidden, Iowa; eight grandchildren, Natalie, Gretchen, Melissa, Danielle, Matthew, Joseph, Taylor, Morgan and Mason; and five great-grandchildren, Kenzie, Nicholas, Carver, Caleb and Emon. He was preceded in death by a son, David Earl Middaugh on June 14, 1990; a granddaughter, Natasha Cherene Williams on March 29, 2000; and a sister Marguerite Dunn. A Glen E. Middaugh Memorial Fund has been established.
