Hazel Green, Wisconsin Guy B. "Bud" Kitelinger, 74, of Hazel Green, Wisconsin, died Wednesday, April 10, 2013, surrounded by his family at home. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 13 2013, at Casey Funeral Home in Cuba City with Calvin Hughes officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery in Hazel Green. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday and from 9-10:15 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Guy was born on November 2, 1938, in New Diggings, Wisconsin, the son of Milford and Fern (Simmons) Kitelinger. He married Linda Havertape on October 3, 1964, at St. Joseph's Church in Sinsinawa. Guy worked in the mines and later worked at John Deere Dubuque Tractor Works from 1966 until he retired in 1997. Guy loved to fish and hunt with his boys. He enjoyed tinkering with cars, motorcycling and boating with his wife. He loved his pets especially his beloved dog, Stoney. Guy was a simple man who preferred a t-shirt and jeans. He loved campfires with friends and family. He also enjoyed the dog track and boat in Dubuque. Guy liked to watch any sports. Survivors include his wife, Linda; five sons, Kevin (Helen), of Barneveld, Kent (Sheila), of Dodgeville, Brian (Michelle), of Platteville, Bart (Angie), of Hazel Green, and Travis (Melissa), of Dodgeville; nineteen grandchildren, Josh, Jeremy (Hannah), Karissa (Austin) Henze, Jessica, Nichole (fiancé, Dan Meyer), Dereck, Justin, Zachary, Rebecca, Brett, Hanna, Kayla, Julia, Caleb, Carly, Tre Gilbertson, Adeline (fiance, Shane Kemnitzer) Baumgartner, Tina Barton, and Mindy Barton; six great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Emily, Brenden, Daniel and Baby Meyer due in September, and Christoz Oseguera Kitelinger; two sisters, Gay and Dolores Kitelinger, both of Cuba City; three brothers-in-law, Clarence Wallenhorst, of Hazel Green, Michael Havertape, of Erie, PA, and James (Sheila) Havertape, of Rochelle, IL; and a sister in law, Mary (Tim) Barrett, of Clearwater, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister-in-law, Patricia Wallenhorst; and a niece, Ann Wallenhorst. A Guy B. "Bud" Kitelinger Memorial Fund has been established. The family would like to thank Tri State Dialysis, Finley Home Care, Manor Care, and Hospice of Dubuque.
