Hazel Green, Wisconsin Harold B. "Harry" Heller, 89, of Hazel Green, Wisconsin, died Saturday, November 5, 2016, at home. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at St. Joseph Church in Sinsinawa with Rev. Ken Frisch officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cuba City is in charge of arrangements. Harry was born on June 8, 1927, in Hazel Green, Wisconsin, the son of Anthony and Bernice (Hoppman) Heller. He married Teresa M. Berns, the love of his life, on August 9, 1949, in Monona, Iowa. Harry farmed his entire life and also worked at Sinsinawa Mound, John Deere Dubuque Tractor Works, and later at Twin Oaks Lumber LLC until he was 86 years old. Harry served in the Marines and took part in an Honor Flight in 2013. Harry loved his horses and buggy, especially giving rides. He also enjoyed camping, the Green Bay Packers, and playing euchre, especially a good card game and beating Glenn. He took pride in his homemade Bloody Marys which were the best in the tri state area. Most of all Harry loved his wife and family and enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids at his home. His faith was very important to him and he was a member of St. Joseph's Parish. Survivors include his wife, Teresa; four daughters, Connie (Bob) Gallagher, of Galena, Jane (Dave ) McCartney, of Hazel Green, Laurie (Randy) Theill, of Kieler, and Betty (Dan) Wubben, of Hazel Green; four sons, Jerry (Ann) Heller and Glenn (Diane) Heller, both of Galena, Ken Heller, of Platteville, and Terry (Jeanne) Heller, of East Dubuque; a sister, Evie Fleege, of East Dubuque; a sister-in-law, Lois Heller, of Hazel Green; a brother-in-law, Jack Splinter, of Hazel Green; 32 grandchildren; and 49 great-grandchildren with one on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son-in-law, David Runde; a granddaughter, Lindsay Wubben-Simonini; a grandson, Henry Heller; two brothers, Don (Millie) Heller and Anthony Heller; four sisters, Kathleen (Clarence) Fleege, Therese (Bob) Francis, Jean (Jack) Schneider, and Marie Splinter; and a brother-in-law, Bob Fleege. A Harold B. "Harry" Heller Memorial Fund has been established. A special thanks to Father Ken and Hospice of Dubuque.
