Cuba City, Wisconsin Helen A. Roth, 98, of Cuba City, Wisconsin, died Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at Southwest Health Center Hospital in Platteville. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 23, 2014, at St. Rose of Lima Church in Cuba City with Rev. David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City where the parish rosary will be at 4:45 p.m. Friends may also call 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home before the service. Helen was born on May 25, 1916, in Galena, Illinois, the daughter of David W. and Julia E. (Hatter) Bergmann. She married Gealos Roth on February 28, 1938. He preceded her in death in 1988. Helen was a great cook who loved canning. She enjoyed music and loved to dance. Family was the high light of her life. Visits from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were greatly enjoyed by Helen. Survivors include four daughters, Phyllis (Frank) Berns, of Springvalley, Ohio, Rita (Joe) Vondra, of Brooklyn, Wisconsin, LaVonne (Steve) Paustian, of Waterloo, Iowa, and Donna (Ray) Olson, of Shullsburg; a son-in-law, Ray (Marie) Steinlage, of Worthington, Iowa; ten grandchildren, Diane, Loras, Steven, Jeff, Michelle, Mike, Shane, Wade, Ed and Kevin; and three great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Kay Steinlage, and Helen's two sisters, Lorenza and Rita.
