Platteville, Wisconsin Henrietta L. Hauber, 98, of Platteville, Wisconsin, formerly of Dickeyville, died Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at Southwest Health Center Hospital in Platteville. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 26, 2012, at Holy Ghost Church in Dickeyville with Rev. Bernard Rott officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City where the parish wake service will be at 1:45 p.m. Henrietta was born on September 25, 1914, in Dickeyville, Wisconsin, the daughter of John and Margaret (Timmerman) Kuepers. She married Andrew Hauber on June 13, 1940, at Holy Ghost Church in Dickeyville. He preceded her in death on November 22, 1986. Together they started the Dickeyville Locker Plant in 1948. In 1980 it was renamed Hauber's Processing and is currently owned and operated by the second and third generation of her family. Henrietta was a hard worker. She loved to play euchre, crochet, and make afghans and doilies. Henrietta was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters, the Council of Catholic Women and the Catholic Daughters. Survivors include a daughter, Mary Brand, of Dickeyville; three sons, John (Ruth) Hauber, of Dickeyville, Tom (special friend, Kim Florell) Hauber, of Richland Center, and David "Mick" Hauber, of Dickeyville; two sisters-in-law, Betty Kuepers, of Dickeyville, and Eunice Hauber, of Dyersville, Iowa; eight grandchildren, Lynn (Dick) Eisner, Kathy (Rich) Gerber, Karen (Steve) Wendler, Bob (Tammy) Brand, Rhonda (Brian) Lucas, Ryan (Jobie) Hauber, Erin (Stephanie) Hauber, and Amy (Greg) Schoepp; 23 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jerome Kuepers, and a son-in-law, James Brand. The family would like to thank Park Place Assisted Living and Memory Care and the staff at Southwest Health Center for their care and compassion.
