Henrietta L. Jones, 86, of Shullsburg, formerly of Cuba City, died Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Stonehill Care Center in Dubuque. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2014 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cuba City, with Rev. David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday, January 31, 2014 at Casey Funeral Home and Cremation Service, where the scripture wake service will be held at 3:45 p.m. Friends may also call at the funeral home on Saturday from 8:45-10 a.m. before the service. Henrietta was born on June 1, 1927, in Cuba City, the daughter of Bernard and Kathryn "Kate"(Lenstra) Hinderman. She married Donald Leibold on August 21, 1947. She later married Merle Jones of Dubuque. Both preceded her in death. Henrietta was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, neighbor and friend. She was an active member of her church, where she enjoyed singing in the church choir. Henrietta was a member of the Catholic Daughters, American Legion Auxiliary, and she was also a volunteer at St. Vincent De Paul's in Shullsburg for many years. She enjoyed playing cards, dancing and socializing with family and friends. She was a very generous person, giving of her time to others. Survivors include two daughters, Susan (Jim Jackson ) Coles of Leadville, Colorado, and Patricia (Steve Dunne) Smith, of Dubuque; two sons, Joseph (Nina) Leibold, of Pensecola, Florida, and Michael Leibold, of Dubuque; two sisters, Florence Pahnke, of Cuba City, and Katie Klinger, of Platteville; a sister-in-law, Ellie Hinderman, of Platteville; eight grandchildren, Stephanie Nemmers, Jason (Jenny) Kieler, Chet (Michelle) Leibold, Seth Carpenter, Jacob Coles, Angie (Kris) Sharpe, Lauren Schwartz, and Kaylee Leibold; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands, four brothers, Walt, Ray, Harry, and Jim; a grandson, Jacob Coles; and three brothers-in-law, Paul Klinger, Henry Pahnke, and Alvin Tashner.
