Henry was born on December 26, 1925, in Kieler, Wisconsin, the son of Henry and Clara (Flogel) Droessler. He married Juanita K. Ihm on April 29, 1947, at Immaculate Conception Church in Kieler. Henry ran the family farm near Kieler and was a member of the Carpenter’s Union. Later he worked in maintenance at Mt. St. Francis in Dubuque, where he retired at age 81. Henry was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Immaculate Conception Holy Name, Immaculate Conception Parish Council and the Jamestown Volunteer Fire Department. Survivors include his wife, Juanita, of Kieler; three daughters, Meg Larkin, of Rockford, IL, Mary Lee (Jack) Powell, of Dickeyville, and Klara (fiancé, Rick) Droessler, of St. Paul, MN; three sons, Gary (Julie) Droessler, of Cuba City, Arlie (Sally) Droessler, of Kieler, and Carl (Susie) Droessler, of Menominee, IL; two sisters, Pauline Schroeder, of Lancaster, and Mercedes Bertjens, of Cuba City; a brother Arvel (Kay) Droessler, of Florida; two sisters-in-law, Margaret Droessler, of Kieler, and Mary Jo Droessler, of Colorado; eighteen grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Clara Droessler; his stepmother, Lorena (Kaiser) Droessler; two sisters, Lillian Timmerman and Lorraine Fleege; and five brothers, Cyril, Norbert, Ed, Earl, and Clair. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice of Dubuque or Immaculate Conception Parish in Kieler.
