Irene B. Orth

Benton, Wisconsin Irene B. (Horn) Orth, 60, of Benton, Wisconsin, died Friday, February 5, 2016, at home. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 8, 2016, at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City with Pastor Connie Matye officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 9-10:45 am. Monday at the funeral home before the service. Irene was born on January 28, 1956, in Platteville, Wisconsin, the daughter of Nickson P. and Anni G. (Poppe) Horn. She married Thomas J. Orth on July 25, 1992. Irene worked in the deli at Walmart in Galena. Irene enjoyed spending time with her mother and grandchildren, reading, working crossword puzzles, watching TV game shows, and playing games on the computer. Survivors include her husband, Tom, of Benton; two sons, Gregory (Susan) Kosharek, of Oregon, WI, and Kevin (Stacey) Kosharek, of Madison, WI; her mother, Anni Horn, of Belmont; a sister, Bernice "Bernie" Dorota, of Highland, WI; three brothers, Nick R. (Barbara) Horn, of East Dubuque, IL, John (Joan) Horn, of Avoca, WI, and Dennis (Geralyn) Horn, of Cobb, WI; and six grandchildren, Duncan, Tiernan, Dakota, Olivia, Austin and Ian. She was preceded in death by her father, Nickson Horn. An Irene B. (Horn) Orth Memorial Fund has been established.
