Irma Mary Wiederholt

Kieler, Wisconsin Irma M. Wiederholt, 89, of Kieler, Wisconsin, died Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Southwest Health Center Hospital in Platteville. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 4, 2013, at Immaculate Conception Church in Kieler with Rev. Bernard Rott officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the Immaculate Conception Parish Center. Friends may also call from 9-10:15 a.m. Monday at the parish center before the service. Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cuba City is in charge of arrangements. Irma was born on February 2, 1924, in Jamestown Township, the daughter of Edward and Matilda (Jansen) Vondra. She married John W. Wiederholt on June 2, 1942, at Immaculate Conception Church in Kieler. He preceded her in death on March 27, 1983. Irma liked to travel especially to Branson, Missouri. She enjoyed playing cards, country music, watching the Brewers, a good joke, eating desserts, and watching the squirrels from her room at Park Place. Irma loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was very devoted to her religion. Survivors include three daughters, Carol (Richard) Watson, of Kieler, Mary Kay (Rex) Goatcher, of Kailua, Kona, Hawaii, and Sheila (Mike) Sperry, of Muscoda, Wisconsin; three sons, Kevin (Karla) Wiederholt, of Cuba City, John (JoAnn) Wiederholt, of Fennimore, and Randy (Tammy) Wiederholt, of Slinger, Wisconsin; 17 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, Richard, and a sister, Edna Mueller. An Irma M. Wiederholt Memorial Fund has been established.
