Cuba City, Wisconsin Janice M. "Jan" Weber, 64, of Cuba City, Wisconsin, went home to her heavenly father on Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at Epione Pavilion in Cuba City. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 2, 2013, at St. Rose of Lima Church in Cuba City with Rev. David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Elk Grove Township. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City where the parish wake service will be at 3:45. Friends may also call from 9:30-10:15 a.m. Saturday at the church before the service. Jan was born on June 25, 1949, in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Cletus and Veronica (Thill) Steuer. She married Homer Weber on April 11, 1970, at St. Columbkille's Catholic Church in Dubuque. Jan enjoyed collecting angels and playing bingo, cards, and games with her grandchildren. She was a faith-driven woman. Jan was a member of the Lafayette County Right to Life Organization and a prayer group. Survivors include her husband, Homer; two daughters, Peggy Neis, of Dickeyville, and Tammy (Russ) Stratton, of Cuba City; a son, Duane (Regina) Weber, of Monroe; her mother, Veronica Pfiffner, of Dubuque; a brother, Terry (Linda) Steuer, of Dubuque; a sister, Donna (Gary) VonFumetti, of San Diego, CA; her grandchildren, Mercedes, Sierra and Camry Neis, and Trent and Shannon Weber; her step-grandchildren, Meghan (Jeff) Skemp, Kayla (Scott) Furlong, and Chelsea Stratton; her step-great-grandchildren, Khiley Furlong and one on the way; six sisters-in-law, Alvina (Pat) Runde, Betty Wedig, Agnes Weber, Dorothy Tranel, Sandy (Mike) Alt, and Carolyn (Roger) Fries; and four brothers-in-law, Vernon (Myrt) Weber, Verdon (Linda) Weber, Richard (Mary) Weber, and Joe Weber. She was preceded in death by her father, Cletus Steuer, her father and mother-in-law, Edward and Anna Loretta Weber; three brothers-in-law, Lawrence and Marvin Weber, and Art Wedig; and a sister-in-law, Denise Weber. A Janice M. "Jan" Weber Memorial Fund has been established. The family would like to thank Hospice of Dubuque and the staffs of Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque, Wendt Regional Cancer Center, and Epione Pavilion for their compassion and care.
