Jeanne M. Mcguire

Freeport, Illinois Jeanne M. McGuire, 67, of Freeport, Illinois, formerly of Benton, Wisconsin, died Tuesday, August 11, 2015, at home. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 15, 2015, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Benton with Rev. David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 9-10:45 a.m. Saturday at the church before the service. Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Benton is in charge of arrangements. Jeanne was born on January 19, 1948, in Hazel Green, Wisconsin, the daughter of Joseph and Lorraine (Monahan) McGuire. She worked at Micro Switch in Freeport, Illinois, for 35 years. Jeanne was very involved with her church, especially with adoration. She was a cat lover who loved all cats and volunteered at the local Humane Society in Freeport. Jeanne adored her nieces and nephews: Becky (Shawn) Fenn, Karen (Jeremy) Smith, Cheryl Lange, Rachel Lange, Adam Lange, Kristine Fenn and her son, Aiden, and Matt Fenn. Also surviving are her sisters, Greta Fenn, of Warren, Illinois, and Patty (Richard) Lange, of Platteville. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Linda McGuire.
