Jenelda M. (Siefker) Neis, 93, of Dickeyville, Wisconsin, walked through the gates of heaven on March 22, 2024, at Luther Manor Grand Meadows, Asbury, Iowa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Dickeyville, Wisconsin with Rev. Bernard Rott officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m. Monday at Holy Ghost Church where there will be a parish rosary at 3:40 p.m. Visitation will also be from 9:00-10:15 a.m. Tuesday at the church before the service. Casey-McNett Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cuba City is assisting the family.

Jenelda was born on October 28, 1930, to Clarence and Bernice (Timmerman) Siefker in Dickeyville. She was joined in marriage to Bhurnell Neis on October 19, 1949. He preceded her in death on August 13, 2002. They owned the Dickeyville Cheese Factory where you would find mom doing the bookkeeping at home while raising eight children. She ran the Dickeyville Cheese Store for many years.

Jenelda is survived by three daughters, Diane (David) Weiskircher, of Shullsburg, WI, Sandra (Todd) Atkinson, of Dubuque, IA, and Sheila (Buddy Simons) Wardell, of Dickeyville, WI; four sons, Dale (Victoria) Neis and Thomas Neis, both of Dickeyville, WI, Brian Neis, of Dubuque, IA, and Richard (Christy) Neis, of DeForest, WI; two sisters, Gladys Sindt and Patricia Quade, both of Peosta, IA; eleven grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; her son, Daniel, and his wife, Shawna; a grandchild, Travis Suthers; a sister, Doris (Eldon) Oyen; and two brothers-in-law, LaVern Sindt and Ernie Quade.

The family would like to express our thanks to the staffs of Luther Manor Grand Meadows and Hospice of Dubuque for the wonderful care our mom received.
