John Henry Laufenberg, 64, of Leadmine, Wisconsin, died Wednesday, January 15, 2014, of natural causes. Private family services will be held Saturday, January 18, 2014, with private burial at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Cuba City. John was born on March 13, 1949 in Dodgeville, Wisconsin, the son of Harold and Marian (Eggers) Laufenberg. John worked at John Deere for thirty years, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviors include four sisters, Judith (Jim) Linscheid, of Madison, Jean (Donald) Splinter, of Lakeland, Florida, Nancy Biddick, of Dickeyville, and Carol (Jack) Runde, of Belmont; three brothers, Tom (Janice), of Dickeyville, Rick (Pam), of Littleton, CO, and Rod (Jeannie), of Cuba City; a brother-in-law, Rich Udelhofen, of Cuba City; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Sue Udelhofen; and a brother-in-law, Bruce Biddick.
