Tarpon Springs, Florida Joyce M. Wedig, 67, of Tarpon Springs, Florida, formerly of Cuba City, Wisconsin, died Thursday, January 21, 2021. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 7, 2021, at St. Rose of Lima Church, Cuba City, Wisconsin, with Rev. David Flanagan officiating. Services will be live streamed through Facebook on the funeral home page. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Casey-McNett Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cuba City is assisting the family. Joyce was born on October 20, 1953, in Hazel Green, Wisconsin, the daughter of Harry and Florence (Hoppenjan) Segerstrom. She married Mark Wedig on February 15, 1975, at St. Rose of Lima Church in Cuba City. He preceded her in death on September 15, 2013. Joyce graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a degree in music. She loved to play piano. Joyce was employed for many years at the Florida State Department of Corrections. She also worked with her son, Matthew, at a jet ski repair business. Joyce loved renovating her home with her husband and attending weekly auctions with her daughter, Melissa. Survivors include her daughter, Melissa (Thomas) Galbo, Tarpon Springs, FL; her son, Matthew Wedig, Palm Harbor, FL; two brothers, Jeffrey (Traci) Segerstrom, Jefferson City, MO, and Steven (Teresa) Segerstrom, Lisbon, WI; and two grandchildren, Haley Galbo and Brooke Gaukel. She was also preceded in death by her parents. In lieu of flowers, a Joyce M. Wedig Memorial Fund has been established.
