Dickeyville, Wisconsin Judith A. "Judy" Schroeder, 70, of Dickeyville, Wisconsin, died Monday, September 23, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque, Iowa. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 26, 2013, at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Dickeyville, with Rev. Bernard Rott and Rev. Francis Steffen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Casey Funeral Home in Cuba City, where the parish rosary will be held at 2:45 p.m. Friends may also call from 8:30- 9:45 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home before the service. Judy was born on July 14, 1943, in Lancaster, Wisconsin, the daughter of Edward and Gertrude (Dean) Eggers. Judy married Gerald Schroeder, on October 12, 1963, in Potosi, Wisconsin. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and crafts, especially angels. She also liked watching golf, the Packers, and the Badgers, and was a member of the Dickeyville Bowling Association. Judy worked in retail at Target in Dubuque, and retired from there. She cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren. They were her pride and joy and she loved them dearly. Judy was a member of Holy Ghost Church, and on October 12, 2013, she and Jerry planned on celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. Survivors besides her husband, Jerry, include four daughters, Diane (Rusty) Droessler, of Dickeyville, Wisconsin, Luanne (Mark) Gould, of Fall River, Wisconsin, Roxanne (Jeff) Busch, also of Dickeyville, and Deb (John) Rabl, also of Fall River; two sons, Don (Kathy) Schroeder, of Dickeyville, and Dan (Tina) Schroeder, of Potosi; one sister, Hazel Koeller, of Dubuque, Iowa; a brother-in-law, Davey White, of Potosi; and thirteen grandchildren, Max, Amanda, Jack, Jonathon, Justin, Jenna, Jake, Konner, Kayla, Courtney, Will, Katie, and Charlie. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Donna White, Hulene Pundsack, and Jeanette Eggers; and a brother, James Eggers. Special thank you to the Dickeyville EMT's, Rev. Richard Schaeffer, and the doctors and emergency staff at Mercy Medical Center.
