Cuba City, Wisconsin Judith L. "Judi" Maki-Paeske, 70, of Cuba City, Wisconsin, died Friday, February 20, 2015, at The Finley Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa. The family will have a Celebration of Her Life this summer in Cuba City. Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City is in charge of arrangements. Judi was born on August 3, 1944, in Hancock, Michigan, the daughter of Chester and Mable E. (Malenck) Maki. After high school Judi worked for All State Insurance as a customer service specialist. She was one of their most proficient workers. Judi moved to Cuba City in 1994 and married David Paeske on October 30, 1998 in Middleton. Survivors include her husband, David; a stepson, Brian (fiancee Line Mork), of Frederikshavun, Denmark; her sisters, Marilyn (Cyril) Kempen, of Kennan, Wisconsin, Christina (Steve) Blevins, of Union City, California, and Trudi (Scott) Phillips, of Tumwater, Washington; her brothers, D.C. (Fay) Maki, of Middleton, Charles (Bonnie) Maki and Dean (Nancy) Maki, both of Ontonagon, Michigan, Mark Maki, of Merrillville, Indiana, and Wade (Ann) Maki, of Owen, Wisconsin; and a sister-in-law, Mary Maki, of Jacksonville, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Mable; and a brother, Norman. Memorials in Judi's name may be sent to Omega House, 2211 Maureen Lane, Houghton, Michigan 49931.
