October 15, 1981 — July 22, 2012

Madison, Wisconsin Julie A. (Hoppenjan) Haldeman, 30, of Madison, Wisconsin, formerly of Cuba City, Wisconsin, died Sunday, July 22, 2012, at Agrace Hospice Center in Madison. A Celebration of Life will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 26, 2012, at St. Rose of Lima Church in Cuba City with Rev. David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City where the parish wake service will be at 2:45 p.m. There will be private family only visitation on Thursday at the funeral home before the service. Julie was born on October 15, 1981, in Cuba city, Wisconsin, the daughter of Charles and Darlene (Hinderman) Hoppenjan. She graduated from Cuba City High School in 2000 and from UW-LaCrosse in 2004. Julie worked in human resources at CDW/Berbee in Madison. She married Kevin (K.C.) Haldeman on October 3, 2009, at his parents' cabin in Phillips, Wisconsin. Julie loved traveling and trying new things. She enjoyed gardening and was passionate about eating and cooking healthy, and trying to educate others on healthier living. She loved spending time with family, friends and kitties, taking care of her godchild, Landon, and going to movies. Julie was artsy, recently occupying her time making hand made greeting cards for family and friends. She had a great sense of humor--the type of personality that everyone gravitates toward. Julie was very special and loved by all. Survivors include her husband, Kevin (K.C.), of Madison; her parents, Chuck and Darlene Hoppenjan, of Cuba City; her sister, Teri (Jamie) Rupp, of Monroe; her brothers, Randy Hoppenjan, of Cuba City, and Dan (Liz) Hoppenjan, of Cottage Grove; her nieces, Tiffany Hopppenjan and Taylor Bechen; her nephews, Cody Bechen, Samuel Rupp, and Landon Hoppenjan; her paternal grandmother, Romona Hoppenjan, of Cuba City; her father and mother-in-law, Larry and Donna Haldeman, of Marshfield; and her sister-in-law, Melanie Haldeman, of St. Paul, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her brother, Steve Hoppenjan; her maternal grandparents, Walt and Marie Hinderman; and her paternal grandfather, Bernard Hoppenjan. A Julie A. Haldeman Memorial Fund with memorials going to hospice has been established.
