Kristy L. Timmerman

Dickeyville, Wisconsin Kristy L. Timmerman, 31, of Dickeyville, Wisconsin, died Saturday, January 25, 2014, at UW-Hospitals & Clinics in Madison. She was born with spina bifida and has had many surgeries over the years. Kristy spent the last three months at UW-Hospital fighting many infections. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2014, at Holy Ghost Church in Dickeyville with Rev. Bernard Rott officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City where the parish wake service will be at 2:45 p.m. Friends may also call from 9-9:45 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home before the service. Kristy was born on January 12, 1983, in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Dale and Peggy (Meyer) Timmerman. She graduated from Cuba City High School in 2002 and worked as a cashier at Sears in Dubuque. Kristy enjoyed hockey games, rodeos, and most especially talking with people and hanging out at the mall and McDonald's. She loved spending time with Camryn and Cain. Survivors include her parents, Dale and Peggy Timmerman, of Dickeyville; a brother, Chad (Melissa) Timmerman, of Dickeyville; her niece and nephew, Camryn and Cain, with another arriving in March; her fiancé, Duane Blair, of Dubuque; and her maternal grandfather, Leo Meyer, of Dyersville. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Urban and Rose Timmerman; her maternal grandmother, Virginia Meyer; and her aunt, Lori Meyer. A Kristy L. Timmerman Memorial Fund has been established. A special thanks to the doctors, especially Dr. Benny Iskandar, and nurses, especially Abbey, at UW-Hospitals & Clinics.
