Laura Jane Dall

Middleton, Wisconsin Laura Jane Dall, 53, of Middleton, WI and formerly of Cuba City, WI died on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at Agrace Hospice Care in Madison due to complications from a surgery in January. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 26, 2017, at St. Rose of Lima Church in Cuba City with Rev. David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 1-3:30 p.m. Sunday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City where the parish wake service will be at 12:45 p.m. Friends may also call from 9:15-10:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home before the service. Laura was born on December 28, 1963, in Cuba City, Wisconsin, the daughter of David D. and Mary J. (Galligan) Dall. Laura had many interests and was a caretaker to many throughout her life as a Dental Assistant and then as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She loved providing care to the elderly and those less fortunate. Laura suffered for many years from bi-polar disorder but she met life’s challenges at every turn and had more will and determination than most. She had a wonderful sense of humor and even in these final days she was able to see humor and light in her journey. Laura is survived by her mother, Mary Galligan Dall, of Cuba City; a brother, Dan (Luann) Dall, of Whitewater, two sisters, Julie (Jack) Zimmerman, of Cuba City, and Nancy Dall, of Minneapolis, MN. She also has three nephews, Charlie Dall, Bob Dall and Drew Zimmerman, and one niece, Nicole Zimmerman. Laura also had a special relationship with the Birkett family, Ron, Margaret, David and Patti. Laura was preceded in death by her father, David Dall, and grandparents, Jim and Genevieve Galligan and Delbert and Cleone Dall. A memorial fund has been established in her name, funds will be distributed to the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI) and Agrace Hospice. We want to thank the many people that have cared for Laura over the years and specifically mention Kelly, her physician assistant, from Agrace that has been a shining light for her the past few months.
